The importance of the research lies in the fact that it is not a modern issue, but rather a matter that has its roots in ancient times.

It is worthy of what has occurred in terms of progress in the means and methods through which it is possible to determine the sex of the fetus, whether it is male or female.

It was necessary to know the legal ruling for this process.

Inductive in an attempt to collect the diaspora on this topic and discuss it, and analyze to analyze it, and make a comparison between the evidence and support the stronger ones And I reached a set of results, the most important of which is what the spouses do in terms of natural or medical actions and procedures through a specialist with the aim of determining the masculinity or femininity of the fetus, the most important of which is to choose the sex of the fetus by natural means is considered permissible.

The jurists differed in determining the sex of the fetus by medical means between permissibility and prohibition, and I chose the opinion that it is not permissible to choose the sex of the fetus because of the strength of evidence and because interference in choosing the sex of the fetus transgresses God’s will.

The study recommends the need to address contemporary jurispru¬dential issues, especially those related to reproductive issues, by setting controls over them.
