Abstract EN

Research Topic: the research studies a great objective among the objectives of the Islamic religion in the Glorious Qur'an which is the care Islam has for man and its effort to bring him out of servitude and slavery to freedom, and the research is focused on explaining the sources of freedom in Islam through the study of Qur'anic verses.

Research Objective: highlighting the care of Islam for man, and its effort to bring him out of servitude and slavery to freedom.

The research also aims at emphasizing this Islamic objective and refuting ambiguities and accusations of purveyors of trouble against Islam that it is a religion of slavery by studying Qur'anic Verses.

Research Problem: 1- What is the meaning of slavery and freedom? And why is the religion of Islam considered a religion of freedom and not a religion of slavery? 2- What are the sources of slavery during the pre-Islamic era? And what is the position of Islam regarding it? 3- What are the sources and means of freedom in Islam? And how does Qur'anic verses deal with them? Prominent Research Findings: There was slavery among many nations before the advent of Islam, it was not started or created by Islam.

Rather, it was already an established system and reality among people when Islam came.

So Islam expanded the circle of freedom and constricted the circle of slavery and even restricted it to one source which is battle because of disbelief in Allah and war against His religion.

The researcher also discovered that most of those who refuted the ambiguities of the enemies of Islam over the issue of slavery are the modern scholars of exegesis.
