evaluating methodology of teaching Arabic Language in the West.

Methodology of Teaching Arabic Language through the Qur'an (by Allen Jones) Research Objective: evaluating the content of the book "Arabic through the Qur'an" by Allen Jones.

Research Problem: how to analyze the book "Arabic through the Qur'an" in the light of criteria for teaching Arabic Language to non-Arabic speakers.

Research Findings: the result of the analysis show that: 1-The book mainly focuses on the skills of reading and writing while it neglected the skills of listening, speaking, Qur'anic knowledge and standards.

2-The book lacks many basic components such as many principles which it did not touch, and it presented Arabic language, after detaching it from its cultural environment and social component, like a summarized and condensed area of specialization.
