Abstract EN

Compilation and study of ahadith concerning blameworthy delay in the area of acts of worship, whether the delay is prohibited or disliked.

Research Objective: • Delineating matters in the area of acts of worship in which there are prophetic traditions blaming delay in them.

• Explaining what is authentic and what is not among those ahadith and narrations used by scholars as proof in matters of delay.

Research Problem: delay in acts of worship is a matter in which there are texts of prophetic traditions, which need to be compiled and studied, especially, in periods like this where people have become lazy and reluctant in carrying out deeds.

Prominent Research Findings: First: there are eleven blameworthy delays in salat, two in zakat, four in fasting, and three in haj.

Secondly: the number of blameworthy ahadith that are authentic and hasan in acts of worship is: fifty three hadith and narrations, and the number of weak ahadiths is thirteen.
