Abstract EN

This study aimed to reveal the relationship between Phobias (fear of self-death - fear of the death of others) and irrational thoughts in a sample of families of those infected with Corona virus in King Fahd Specialist Hospital in Medina, and the study sample consisted of (400) individuals from the families of those infected with Corona virus By (200) males, the time span for them ranges between (25- 55) years with an average mean (39.73) and a standard deviation (0.64), (200 females) from the families of those infected with Corona virus, the time age ranges between them (25 - 55) years with an average arithmetic average (39,52) and a standard deviation (0,49).

There is no among all individuals of the sample who have physical disabilities.

The King Fahd Specialist Hospital in Medina was chosen randomly, and the two samples were randomly chosen, then two measures were applied to the individuals of the sample, the scale of pathological concerns prepared by the researcher and the scale of the irrational thoughts of Hooper & C.

There is a negative correlation with a statistically significant level at 0.01 between Phobias and irrational thoughts in both males and females.

The study also found that there were statistically significant differences at the level of 0.01 between males and females in Phobias and differences came in the direction of the female eye, and there were statistically significant differences at the level of 0.01 between males and females in irrational thoughts and the differences came in the direction of the female eye.

These results were discussed in light of the results of previous studies and the theoretical framework for the study.
