The research paper dealt with the reform of the UN Security Council, the necessity and the obstacles.

The importance of the paper lies in the importance of the UN Security Council and its important role in the system of international laws and legislations.

Chief among the questions is: Will the five permanent members of the Security Council accept guaranteeing the security and peace of this world, which are the largest beneficiaries of the global arms trade? How can countries selling death and wars be responsible for ensuring peace and security in the world? The paper followed the descriptive and analytical approach.

The research paper concluded with a number of results, the most important of which is the Security Council now consisting of five permanent members: the United States, Russia, China, Britain and France, each of which has the right to veto.

In addition to the ten seats that other countries can negotiate among themselves, that is, a system that divides the world into two classes.

Five countries do not want to give up their privileges because they are not obliged to do so, and other countries quarrel with each other because each country seeks more influence, and the strategies for disrupting Security Council reform are numerous.

On the one hand, there is the United States, which wants Japan to have a permanent seat, but knows that China will stand against it.

The paper recommended several recommendations, including the necessity of working on reform of the UN Security Council and overcoming obstacles hindering the path of this reform.
