This research paper deals with a comparison between peaceful and non-peaceful means of resolving conflicts through the UN Security Council.

The importance of this research paper lies in the importance of this sensitive body in maintaining international peace and security.

The problem is the extent of the success of these means and in answering the main question about what are the most appropriate and best means for resolving international disputes and which are better for resolving disputes by reviewing all of these means, in both their peaceful and non-peaceful aspects.

A comparison between peaceful and non-peaceful means.

The paper followed the descriptive and analytical approach.

The paper concluded with a number of results, the most important of which is the peaceful settlement of disputes, which is the first step in resolving disputes.

Over the decades, the United Nations helped end many conflicts, often through the actions taken by the Security Council.

Work to move away from the non-peaceful solution of imposing sanctions and direct military intervention because of their disastrous effects on states and civilians of all their spectrum, especially vulnerable segments such as children, women and the elderly, and the economic damage that befalls countries, and the paper contains a conclusion that includes a number of findings and recommendations.
