Abstract EN

The study dealt with Sudanese-Ethiopian relations: security and political bets, the problem of the study was in the case of political and security liquidity that plagues the Horn of Africa region, especially the countries of Sudan and Ethiopia, which prompts us to ask the urgent question: Can Sudanese-Ethiopian relations develop under the lawlessness resulting from the outstanding files between the two countries, which are the files of the border and the Renaissance Dam? The importance of the study stems from the political and strategic importance of the Horn of Africa region in general and the two countries in particular, as well as the state of recklessness and international competition to find a foothold in the economically rich region and the importance of its strategic security location, the study aimed to identify the border crisis between Sudan and Ethiopia its political and strategic dimensions and its implications for the negotiations of the Renaissance Dam, as well as the aim of seeking a conciliatory and understanding formula to remove the region from the spectre of war and strengthen the interventions of cooperation between the two countries and the countries of the region followed the methodology.
