Abstract EN

This study tries to disclose the manifestations of Nazm and composing in Mutanabbi’s poetry.

It begins with a prelude in which a brief piece of information is given about the famous Arab semantic and rhetorical theory called Nazm (putting words and sentences in a specific order).

this theory has been developed for the disclosure of the miracle of the Holy Quran, as well as it can positively contribute in the development of the styles of Arab poets and authors.

moreover، the study refers to the supper capabilities al-Mutanabbi has shown in the use of the following styles : preceding and delay, imperative mode، interrogative mode, vocative style, optative mode and the nahy (prohibition).

In addition to this، the study presents a full sematic and rhetorical analysis for one of the poems in which al-Muttanabbi praises the Prince of Halab Saif Addawlah.
