Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the degree of school principals’ appreciation of educational leadership from teachers’ point of view in Jordan.

The researcher used the descriptive-analytical approach.

The study sample consisted of 141 teachers, chosen in a simple random manner, and the researcher developed a questionnaire as a study tool consisting of 34 items.

The results showed that the degree of school principals’ appreciation of educational leadership from the point of view of teachers in Jordan came at a high degree.

The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the averages of the degrees of the sample individuals according to the gender variable in the fields of the tool, and there were no statistically significant differences according to the variable of experience except the field of jobs of educational leadership and its difficulties.

In the light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended developing the educational leadership course that is given to school principals to improve their competencies in the field of educational leadership, and the principals’ eagerness to constantly change work methods and to avoid repeating traditional ideas in solving schoolwork problems.
