The purpose of the present study is to identify the status of academic relations in the administrative, scientific, research, moral and social fields between post-graduate students and their academic supervisors from the students ’point of view in Saudi universities.

It also aims to show statistically significant differences according to the variables of gender, specialization, academic qualification and the scientific degree of the supervisor.

The research used the descriptive, surveying and comparative approach, and the sample of research and study consisted of (318) individuals, who were selected from the research community, which consists of post-graduate students in the last stage of writing the thesis or recent graduates.

The questionnaire was the tool used for this study to suit the objectives of the current research, and to analyze the data using appropriate statistical treatments.

The research has reached several results, the most prominent of which is that the status of the academic relationship between graduate students and their academic supervisors is (good) in all areas identified by the study, and there are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the averages of degrees and the status of academic relations between graduate students and supervisors according to the gender variable in the "moral and social" dimension in favor of males, and for the specialization variable, there are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the averages of the degrees of the academic relationship between post-graduate students and supervisors in Saudi universities in the "scientific and research" dimension and the total degree and the differences for the sake of scientific specialization.

There are also statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the averages of the degrees of the status of the academic relationship between graduate students and academic supervisors according to the scientific qualification in the "scientific and research dimension" and the total degree in favor of master's students, and according to the academic degree of the supervisor, there are no statistically significant differences at level (0.05) between averages and degrees of the status of academic relationship between post- graduate students and their supervisors.
