Abstract EN

The current study aimed to examine the reality of the strategic performance of King Khalid University in light of the Balanced Scorecard, in addition to presenting a proposed vision for developing the strategic performance of King Khalid University in light of the criteria of the Balanced Scorecard.

For the purpose of achieving the objectives of the study; the researcher prepared a questionnaire consisting of (55) statements that included five dimensions (the beneficiaries: "student satisfaction" - growth and learning - internal processes - financial - community service).

This study was based on the descriptive approach, and the study tool applied the questionnaire for the academic year 1441 AH, and the study sample consisted of (86) academic leaders.

By 75%; The study found a set of results, the most important of which are: The reality of strategic performance at King Khalid University in light of measuring the Balanced Scorecard came to a large extent, and there are statistically significant differences attributed to the head of the department, and to those with less than 5 years of experience, and in favor of the academic rank, a professor.

And the most important recommendations of the study is building an integrated system that achieves the dimensions of the balanced scorecard in Saudi universities.
