There were many old seaports along the African and Asian coasts of the red sea which had luminous role influenced their near and remote geographical spaces.

this research objects to explain the role of Zeila seaport which was located within a series of city ports on western red sea coast and became a central port for economy, community and polity in Somali peninsula and a further geographic center that linked the African interior with the red sea world through trade and migration.

those had consequent on many spatial influences, formed a substantial part in contemporary geography of the horn of Africa, and had been confirmed by historical and geographical sources and relevant scientific research.

«bilad bunt» which was located on the northern Somali's coast was considered as the main source of gum for pharoses’ tombs.

it began its commercial linkages with the Persian gulf during biddle ages which was followed by direct linkages with northwest India a few centuries later.

Islam had spread from Zeila to central and southeast Ethiopia following trade routes and on its path it had been adopted by many ethnic groups distributed from the red sea coast up the blue Nile in Sudan.
