This paper aims at studying anlatically the public ballad in Al Majdal city.

Al Majdal is a Palestinian city that contributed effectively and tremoundously in protecting the development of the Palestinian culture and the social level particularly in relation to the public ballad.

The public ballad reflects the image of Al Majdal society through its joys and sadness.

The study deals with wedding, childhood, crying, religious and work songs.
