Abstract EN

Leadership is a topic of great importance at the present time in industrial and services organizations and the management has excelled in the implication of new methods including the visionary leadership style which gives the image of the future of the organization and an access to achieve its goals as part of their training and learning of its members in an effort to improve the quality of production, thus this paper aims to identify the extent of benefit from the visionary leadership in the organizational learning in educational institutions specially in universities in an attempt to determine the affecting dimensions incurred by the organizational leadership.

This paper used a random sample from the University of Duhok, the survey form has been analyzed statistically under the program 'SPSS' , MINITAB' a computerized approved following the distribution of the questionnaire on the functional cadres and received the 84 valid forms for analysis.

The research has come across a set of results, the most important one is that all colleges of the research sample are convinced that the visionary leadership contributes to the promotion of organizational learning within the basic levels and there is an effort for the presence of these indicators in the colleges of the research sample.

And that there is a correlation and significant impact of the dimensions of visionary leadership in organizational learning at the macro level in the university colleges of research.

The research concluded with a series of recommendations including the interest level of the double loop learning by raising questions about the situations and modifying the current standards of the procedures and policies and the desired goals, as well as developing schemes of previous work at the level of the total number of colleges of samples of the university researched.
