Abstract EN

The present study aimed to reveal the relationship between the self-concept and quality of life of preschool children with language delay.

the study also aimed to identify the differences in self-concept and quality of life due to demographic variables namely (gender- social economic level-age).

to achieve the objectives the researcher used the descriptive method and utilized the scales of (self-concept) prepared by the researcher, the quality of life prepared by the researcher, the sample consisted of 110 preschool students in the governorate of Suez.

the results resulted in a positive statistical link between the self-concept and quality of life was found, as shown by the significant differences between males and females on self-concept scale in the direction of males, and in the quality of life show that there are significant differences between males and females in quality of life in the direction of females.

it turns out that quality of life has a high predictive ability for females, and self- concept has a high predictive ability for males.
