Abdul-Jawad reviews the history and development of his hometown EL-Bireh from its early beginnings in the days of the Canaanites up to the present.

This installment is dedicated to the study of the history of different El-Bireh clans, both those residing in it at the present time and those who did at different times in the past .

The lack of well documented and authenticated records relating to this topic leads the author to rely on family legends resulting in a “ folk-history “ of these clans
