English Abstract

A dialect is composed of a number of linquistic components related to a given environment and common to its community The case being so , it is needless to say that a dialect is affected by the geographic and socio- political factors prevailing in its environment, as well as by interaction with neighbouring languages and dialects Modern .Arabic dialects, including the Palestinian dialects , came down to us from ancient Arabic dialects and therefore they preserved and still preserve many of the aspects of those ancient dialects However, Arab writers refrained from using the vernacular out of care for classical Arabic, but orientalists took interest in colloguial Arabic studies early in the twentieth century and their activities in this field opened the eyes of Arab writers who .
