English Abstract

Research in Palestinian Popular Heritage shows that early in the Arab Isradi conflict, the Isradics denied the existence of a Palestinian People prior to occupation of all of Palestine, and to devouring of most of the Palestinian Land by settlements Having done that.

Israd thought that she drove the Palestinians out of history and geography following negation of the ongin of their existence from her texts Thus the Palestinians were left with no land , no home land, no identity, no state and no army In spite of that Israel failed to obscure the Palestinian reality as represented in Palestinian folklore and failed as well to achieve a peace that could enable her to kill and bury that reality In conclusion .

this article points out that politicians use popular heritage , especially the land, or the rural part of it.

to serv e their political aims, while the men of letters tend to use city heritage in its connection to the usurped land and in its relation to land heritage
