تأثير القوى العاملة و البطالة على الناتج المحلي باستخدام انموذج البيانات المزدوجة (Panel Data)‎ : دراسة تحليلية على الدول العربية للفترة (2000-2018)‎

Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to acknowledge the effect of the total working labor, the unemployment rate and the unemployment rate among males, as well as female unemployment among females, on the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

Data were obtained from the World Bank website - Data Bank - World Development Indicators.

By taking 20 Arab countries from the period (2000 - 2018) where the dependent variable was the gross domestic product and the explanatory or the independent variables which are: the total working labor, the total unemployment rate, the male unemployment rate out of the total male working labor the female unemployment rate out of the total female working labor.

The researcher analyze the data by using various statistical methods for cross-sectional data (Panel Data) and estimation models appropriate to the nature of the data is a fixed estimation model after testing the data in the Haussmann test which is the appropriate one among the models, the alternative hypothesis was accepted as the main concept and estimate limit model is the best for the data.

The study finds out the two (dependent) major general variables and the total working labor have an effect on the domestic product, while the independent variables (total unemployment from the total working labor, the ratio of male unemployment to the male working labor, the ratio of female unemployment to the female working labor) do not affect the GDP.

The researcher also recommended the future research to examine the effect of the public forces on the GDP of each country separately.
