Abstract EN
The field reporter's work is considered one of the most accurate and dangerous press works during wars, disasters and civil conflicts, and in countries that are not stable in security.
media institutions, since the establishment of the paper press, have heard, then television and space, have relied on the skills of their reporters in reporting events accurately and realistically through managing dialogues and transferring the image from its expressive angles.
professionally, from the point of view of the event to the public, the messages of its correspondents became a feature of excellence and a reliable source of information for everyone interested in the subject of their messages.
Iraq, which was occupied in 2003 by the united states and the united kingdom, has entered into a charged atmosphere of political and security turmoil that has pushed it to the forefront of news greatly, and due to the accumulation of security, military and sectarian problems and events since 2003 ce until today; its field correspondents have suffered from killings, kidnappings and threats continuously because of their coverage of these events because of the satisfaction or anger of this or that party from many influential parties in Iraq, affecting the quality of the reports sent by some reporters and pushing many of them to reservations in selecting vocabulary their messages or ignore some fundamental facts in the events that took place and are taking place there are linked to the balances of the powerful powers as well as the files of corruption rampant in this country.
the researcher chose the period between October 1, 2019 to December 1, 2020 as a temporal sample due to the demonstrations that swept the Iraqi capital and the governorates of southern Iraq, which succeeded in drawing the world's attention again to the reality of the Iraqi internal situation.
one of the results of the research was the agreement of most of the respondents to a continuous retreat in the objectivity of the press reports sent by international satellite correspondents working in Iraq as a result of the killings, kidnappings and threats they face from several sides there, and insufficient government protection for them and their headquarters.
