The purpose of the paper was to identify the role of school principals in developing professional growth methods for teachers in the basic stage in the state of Kassala from the point of view of the principals and by answering the main question: what is the role of school principals in developing methods of professional growth for teachers in the basic stage of the State of Kassala, and to answer this question, the researcher by asking a set of branching questions represented in identifying the reality of the school principal in developing the methods of professional growth of teachers and the factors that help in their development and their impact on the academic achievement of students, the researcher used the descriptive and analytical method and the questionnaire as a tool to collect data the study population consists of principals and directors of public schools from three out of eleven localities, that is by percentage 27.
