Abstract EN

Phonetic phenomena are among the most important linguistic phenomena for the evaluation of word structure and the morphological and phonetic changes that occur in it, and because of their overwhelming impact in determining text semantics.

Ancient and modern Arab scholars have gone to great lengths to study and theorize about these phenomena, from Al-Khalil Alfarahidi to the present day.

Commentators on the noble prophetic hadiths have had practical indications in which they have taken advantage of phonetic phenomena to clarify the meaning on the one hand and its multiplicity on the other hand.

This study comes as an attempt to follow the manifestations of phonemic phenomena in the most famous explanations of Sahih "Muslim" in the book "al-mufhim lima ashkala min talkhis kitab Muslim" by Abu al-Abbas al-Qurtubi -May God have mercy on him- in order to show the extent of his contribution to the revelation of the meaning of the text and its multiplicity of meanings.

Perhaps the most important thing that the study concluded is: the importance of the phonetic indication according to the ancients and its great impact in clarifying the meaning, and the relience of the commentators on the nable Prophetic hadith on it.

al-Qurtubi is one of those who adopted it as a clear linguistic method in his book “al-Mufhim".
