In this research, we examined the aspects of architectural fortification in the city of Cherchell from a historical and architectural point of view, and in that answer problem : what are the types of military architecture in the city of Cherchell during her Turkish rule, and what are the influencing factors in her planning and characteristics ? we aim from this research to highlight Algeria's military position during the recent period.

we concluded at the end of the study that the diversity of defensive architecture in the city is related to the importance of its location in the security and economic strategy, and its planning and distribution have been affected by the geographical and security factor.
