The regulatory authority for the written press is a new technique responsible for regulating the field of the written media.

it is an independent administrative authority composed of 14 members, half of whom represent the executive and legislative branches, the other half representing the owners of the profession.

it exercises its regulatory competence by their ex ante intervention, such as the prior declaration, issuance of approval, and by its advisory and regulatory competence, as well as by its ex post intervention, by monitoring and taking preventive measures in first place, and more severely, by the suspension of the publication, or by the withdrawal of approval.
