The objective of this article is to demonstrate the persistence of infertility as a difficult experience to overcome even in old age and in particular despite the use of adoption as a remedy.
in order to achieve this objective, we provide a woman aged 87 with a semi-structured interview and the Rorschach to elucidate the experience of sterility according to the personal history of our subject and the quality of its projection.
the results confirm the stubbornness of sterility in aging as an experience marked by injury and abandonment, and the projection points to the negativity of the link to the mother.

L’objectif de cet article est de démontrer la persistance de la stérilité comme un vécu difficile à surmonter même au vieil âge et notamment en dépit du recourt à l’adoption comme remède.
afin de réaliser cet objectif nous mettons à la disposition d’une femme âgée de 87 ans un entretien semi-directif et le rorschach pour élucider le vécu de la stérilité selon l’histoire personnelle de notre sujet et la qualité de sa projection.
les résultats confirment l’obstination de la stérilité au vieillir comme un vécu marqué par la blessure et l’abandon, et la projection pointe la négativité du lien au maternel.
