This research paper deals with the subject of French literature s view of the personality of Emir Abdelkader through Charles Tailliart in his book “L'Algérie dans la littérature Francaise, 1925 “, with led a long-term military resistance against the French occupation and stood in the face of military expansion, and was known in French writings This book studies Algeria in French literary writings in general, but the book paid attention to the personality of the prince, which was reflected in French literary works, specifically poetry and theater, where Victor Higo wrote about him, but his writings and poems were related to his good relationchip with Napoleon III, besides plays that dealt with his character in incorrect frameworks, and these works tried to distort the national and revolutionary reality of Emir Abdelkader Al-Jazaery.
