The philosophy of religion in Kant is considered one of the most important topics in modern and contemporary philosophy, and the importance of the topic for human thought in general, in that the Kantian enlightenment takes a universal character, with its deep understanding of the problems of contemporary man, especially the ethical aspect of it.

accordingly, it is suitable as a common model for humanity, away from religious fanaticism and ideological differences that tear the world, and thus the Kantian enlightenment is an invitation to rational tolerance.

Kant tried through his book "religion within the limits of mere reason" to express the attitude of the mind towards religion, that is, how the mind can reach the religious truth within its limits that do not go beyond the phenomena of the sense.
