Through our intervention that relates to theoretical approaches and concepts about family and social change, we will try to discuss the relationship between family and contemporary biotechnology under applied ethics.

the preliminary analysis informs us about the model of separating value and knowledge, for reasons related to the modernist model, in which the positive scientific outlook dominated, which made the material aspect the basis of its interests, which made biotechnology practices (genetic map-cloning-eugenic-lint-wombs ...) affect the family with all its components, and loses its moral values, and this extended to society, which made postmodern philosophers (François Dagognet-Jürgen Habermas-Hans Jonas ...) focus on these dangerous transformations and their impact on the individual, the family and society in the light of the biotechnology, as an attempt to refine these bioethics, that the stakes facing the family and society are strong.
