Multilingualism is a fundamental phenomenon in literary writing, and it is manifested in various aspects of literary works at the level of the linguistic fabric and the narrative path, where a group of characters participate in the text and provide it with their different and conflicting languages, voices and visions, each with its own language.

this study seeks to show the aesthetics of multilingualism in the collection of short stories written by the Algerian writer said Batajine entitled (cursing you all), and this analysis is based on the theories of the Russian critic Mikhail Bakhtin, who declares its existence.

the short story does not recognize the authority of language one, which refers directly to the "narrator", but rather the multiplicity of languages and ideologies whose discourses interact to produce narrative texts with an aesthetic dimension, thanks to the interaction of classical language with the vernacular and classical poetry with the vernacular, and from this phenomenon we will try to reveal the extent of its contribution to the aesthetics of these stories.
