Abstract EN

This study attempts to record the term genitive and monitor its development from overlap and connotation of more than one grammatical concept to specialisation, by indicating the concept of genitive construction, by mentioning the concepts that the term used to refer to early grammarians, and showing the beginnings of its specialization ; and the difference of grammarians in clarifying the supporters of the new term, and the proponents of the old one, before the unification of all grammarians on the concept of genitive construction.
