Training is one of the important professional factors affecting the performance of the university professor, as our study aims to identify the extent to which continuous training contributes to improving the performance of the university professor, as well as to identify the various training programs allocated to the university professor at the Algerian university.

the study concluded that continuous training contributes significantly to improving the performance of the university professor, whether in teaching or in the field of research performance, through developing research capabilities and following up on developments in the field of scientific research.
