Abstract EN

The family is the first custodian of the child, as it is the innate natural system and the first natural environment for him, which shapes the fundamental structure of his personality.

however, there are some auxiliary means that work together to achieve the psychological, mental and spiritual integration of the child.

periodicals destined to children are considered amongst the means, which aim at satisfying children’s curiosity and to bring them up culturally.

moreover, it creates in them the habit of reading throughout their lives.

therefore, we try to show the role the magazines destined to children the sense of beauty and creativity at the child and to broaden his perceiving senses to acquire experience from his external environment.

the Algerian magazine Chourouki el Saghir is chosen as sample in this study.
