This study aims at reducing the social exclusion of the elderly within the society, who suffer from multiple health, economic, social, psychological and recreational problems, By using an approach of social empowerment, and trying to achieve adjustment and social compatibility of the elderly and improve social relations and achieve independence and social efficiency by investing his potential and capabilities and rehabilitation again to accommodate the new changes in his life, whether linked to the health conditions associated with old age or social and community conditions, Enabling the elderly to live in a positive way and to improve their quality of life.

This study is a descriptive study based on the social survey method using the sample, using a questionnaire form prepared by the researcher.

One of the main findings of this study is the development of a proposed plan of action that helps to reduce the social exclusion of the elderly using the social empowerment approach
