تعددت أسماء المستشرقين الفرنسيين في الجزائر خلال فترة الاحتلال، كما تعددت اهتماماتهم البحثية، حيث شكل الاستشراق الفرنسي خلال هذه الفترة أحد أهم آليات اختراق المجتمع الجزائري، وضمن هذا المنحى نسعى في هذا المقال الى الوقوف على أعمال أحد أهم المستشرقين الفرنسيين و هو ألفريد بيل (1873-1945) الذي اشتغل على تلمسان كثيرا، خصوصا وأنه أقام بها مدة 40 عام، حيث لامست كتاباته كل ما يتعلق بالمجتمع التلمساني من تاريخ و آثار وعادات و تقاليد
Abstract EN
This article helps to retrace the scientific production of the French orientalist Alfred Bell (1873-1945), who is considered one of the most prominent French orientalists in Algeria during the period of the French occupationHis writings and scholarly articles have focused on the city of Tlemcen and its surroundings, in which he resided for forty years.
His research interests are varied: history, archeology, society and customs.
