This research aims to study the dimensions and means of supporting and developing the role of the family in the process of socialization in the light of globalization.

This study showed that the transformations that have taken place in the Algerian society have created a number of problems and challenges for the Algerian family in terms of their composition, cohesion and role in the process of upbringing, which has reduced and weakened their role in the performance of their functions.
