Journeys to seek knowledge are considered aspects of scientific movement and the cultural activity, in which excellent scholars and students meet to exchange knowledge, precious books and valuable volumes.

Like the other Algerians, people of Touat have been aware of these benefits; as a result, they have traveled to different cities such as Tunisia, Egypt, Arabic cities in the East, Western Sudan and Morocco.

This latter has been the direction of scholars and students of Touat since centuries where they have affected the scientific movement and they have been affected as well.

They have also enriched the cultural relationships between Touat and the cities of Morocco in the Modern Era.
