At the dawn of the modern era, the central Maghreb witnessed a weakening of the central authority represented in the Hafsid and Zayanid states, and this weakness led to a loosening of the authority's grip on regions and territories far from The center of government, which paved the way for the emergence of separatist movements and the establishment of independent political entities in the form of principalities or sheikhdoms that imposed themselves on the political scene of the Middle Morocco since the end of the 15th century AD and the beginning of the 16th century AD.

This study aims to research the political conditions that the Middle Morocco lived during the studied period, the origin of these independent principalities and how they emerged, and we will focus this study on the independent emirates of heavy political stature that had a major role in political life during the 15th and 16th centuries AD.
