Abstract EN

The aim of the present study is to identify the level of preventive healthy behaviour from breast cancer among a sample of women in Constantine city, as well as identify the differences in the level of practicing healthy behaviour according to the variable of presence or ence this disease in the family, The sample was estimated about 74 women at different educational levels.

For this purpose, the researcher used scale that was prepared, which includes 5 basic dimensions of the types of preventive healthy behaviour from breast cancer, with total of 45 items, and the reliability and validity of the tool was verified using the Alpha-Cronbach coefficient and the peripheral comparison.

Among the most important findings of the study is that the level of practicing preventive healthy behaviour is average, and that the food behaviour dimension took the first order in practice, also the results showed no differences between the study sample according to the variable of presence or ence of breast cancer in the family.
