إن المتصفح لوثائق الأرشيف الفرنسي الغزيرة، يقف بوضوح على مساهمة قبيلة البرانس في مقاومة الاحتلال العسكري الفرنسي، و التصدي للقوات الغازية منذ دخولها إلى بلاد الطايفة سنة 1915 إلى حدود قرب انتهاء حرب الريف سنة 1925.
و تجسد معارك القصبة، و بوقلال، و عين الروح، و القطا، وكاف الغار، ووادي الجمعة، و عين الحوط، و بوهارون، و أمساف وغيرها ملاحم بطولية لمقاومة القبيلة للوجود الفرنسي و التسلط "الاستعماري" بها.
Abstract EN
While scrutinizing the copiousness of French archives, one would easily stop at the contribution of the Branès tribe in resisting the French military colonization; as well as combating its invading forces since it infiltrated the land of Taifa in 1915 through the end of the Rif War in 1925.
The total of the battles in Kasba, Boukalal, Ain Rouh, Qta, Kef El Ghar, Oued jmaa, Ain Haout, Bouharon, Amssef and others embodies heroic fierce battles for the tribe in resistance to the French presence and the colonial encroachment in it.
