Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to identify the aspects of spatial mutations of the coastal area of Gharb as well as the factors that contribute to the emergence of the spatial dynamics, starting from the entry of the foreign colonizer until the end of the twentieth century, especially related to agricultural activity, which is considered as a main pillar in the local economic of this area.

It has known various changes associated with the methods of exploitation and the spread of modern agriculture, which contributed to improve the standard of living of the population and raise their incomes.

This subject is relied on a rigorous methodology, based on monitoring the spatial mutation of the coastal area of Gharb during the studied period in terms of its manifestations and its impact on the population economy.
