Tourist trips have become very common and their types have become varied in our modern reality due to the development of means of transportation and communications in addition to the technical and technological advancements in all fields of life.

Booking a room during a tourist trip may be the cornerstone of insuring a traveler's comfort.

However, there are some problems associated with booking a room for a trip, the type of the room, and the service that these rooms may provide to satisfy the traveler's needs.

This requires compliance with the rules of laws to avoid any obstacles that may occur.

In cases of trips within the same region and when all travelers are of Iraqi nationality, such problems will not arise with the Iraqi law implemented.

Obstacles, however, may occur in international trips; with one of its parties is a foreign one or when the trip takes place within the borders of another country or group of countries.

Then the question will be about the laws governing such obstacles.

The aforementioned subject is what we are trying to explain within our research.

This research is divided into two chapters, in the first chapter, we explained the tourist trip and the matter of booking a room in a legal point of view in addition to explaining the most important implications of the contract according to which it was made.

As for the second chapter, it explains the applicable laws of the civil liability occurring due to the obstacles of booking a hotel room during a tourist trip.
