Abstract EN

This paper aims at examining the manifestations of the critical and rhetorical approach of the Maghreb critic Mohamed Ben Sharaf al Kairouani, by identifying some of the concepts, standards and critical foundations that he was able to develop into a critical method applied to the poetry of a group of ignorant, Umayyad, Abbasid, and some Moroccan and Andalusian poets.

Many of the major literary issues were the basis on which he based his theory and the critical approach to which he had invoked; Li formal and technical features at other times, all of the standards and foundations gleaned in its entirety from its consideration of the criticism of some former and his contemporaries from Osativh and his peers.

It is our conviction that what was left by this Maghreb critic was not merely a standstill or a passing glimpse in the field of literary and critical Maghreb studies; rather, he tried very hard to contribute to the creation of a curriculum that is critically important.
