Abstract EN

Based on the vision of the American cultural critic (Neil Postman) in the introduction to his book "Amusing Ourselves to Death" about the dystopian fiction in the western novel, and based on the theoretical approach to the term "Dystopia", this study tries - in light of the representations of the Western model of the dystopian fiction – to stand on the manifestations of worlds The dystopia in the novel, "His Majesty the Great Father", reveals the slippages of the future human society searching for a delusive utopian scientist, in an attempt to answer the following question: Does the difference in cultural references affect the creation of the dystopian imagination, and thus the construction of a dystopian conception of the future prospects of modern man? In this context, this study is supposed to open a research horizon on the interdependence between the elements of the dystopian society and the structure of the Arab world, as well as the excavation in the field of Arab novelist modernity, based on the concept of “migrating concepts”.
