This study aims to know the importance of small enterprises and medium-sized in the Algerian economy and its ability to achieve economic diversification, and then highlight the food industry they constitute 80% of all small enterprises and medium-sized in Algeria, we have found that this sector is an important part of the national economy and contributes effectively in economic development such as employment, , value-added and export, but it still suffers from many problems that hinder private development especially in the food industry, which remains far from fully achieving self-sufficiency, due to fluctuations in production, and the ence of real competition and qualitative E, in addition to the difficulty of marketing their products, and rising production cost
