Humanity, what they have produced since his inception remain the subject of contemplation and study by many sciences, until the differences between the societies to which they belong have become.

Human in shape, colour, race, customs, traditions, religions, arts, and other aspects of daily life - the source of the richness of human civilization.

No one denies the difference in cultural characteristics from one place to another, even within the same country, sometimes the diversity of peoples and nations constitutes a great wealth for humanity.

Most translators with no doubt wish to see their role in such a positive way: “opening a window” for TT readers, in order to illuminate for them an unfamiliar culture.

Edward Said in his book Culture and Imperialism devotes the introduction to the Arabic translation.

He claims that the fading echo of Orientalism in the Arab world is unlike the positive reflections of its counterpart elsewhere in the world.

The probable reason behind his inquiry would be that the translation method in translating Said's book contributed to the book having the limited impact which Said is referring to.

The paper adds new insights to the body of theory and the effectiveness of the performance of translation from culture to culture.

It presents a survey that can provide the reader with an overview of Said's Orientalism and the two Arabic translations of the book.

It investigates some of the problems of translating cultural texts, more specifically translating features of Said's style in compare with Arabic translations by Abu Deeb and Enani.
