Abstract EN

This study is based on the idea of the reverse effect of smartphones.

in the sense of attempting to reveal the impact of the disconnection of users from smartphones and their applications.

in this respects, I started from a basic problem : what are the effects that can be caused by the smartphone users' who are separated from their smartphones ? by conducting a scientific experiment on two university students who are permanently linked to their smartphones through my observations of them.

by separating them from their phones for two days and monitoring their interaction with the new situation, and explaining the accompanying effects.

I relied on the participatory observation method as a tool to collect data, and after the experiment I concluded the following results : their separation from the smartphone led to their feelings of anxiety and confusion, as well as frustration and boredom.

this led them to lethargy and unwillingness to engage in any physical activity.

while on the social side, they became more social.
