Abstract EN

This study dealt with the method of acquiring the ownership of a mark in accordance with the Algerian law regulating marks, and it showed that there are objective conditions that must be met by the mark in order for it to be prompted by legal protection.

This right remains in existence and is protected for a legal period that is renewable for an infinite period, and it does not expire except at the will of the trademark owner, or in the event that one of the reasons stipulated by the legislator is available, which are beyond the will of the trademark owner.
