We try in this article to shed light on the law protection of the consumer in the algerian legislation, with regard to the increasing risks threatenenig his security and his health, especially in the free economy.

We aim then at determining the new commitments issued in the 03/09 law related to consumer protection and cheating crackdown, which establish preventive and deterring mechanisms providing a maximum amount of protection to consumer.
