Quality of life is a significat topic that witness a conscederable growing interest in recent decades.

Despite the existence of old references and empirical studies which have treated it before, mainly its health aspect, the diversity of its axes and the plurality of its specialties have enabled researchers to treat it in a different ways and in several fields.

However we have observed in the research field that there is an ambiguity in the understanding of "quality of life" by individuals and researchers, and a difficulty in evaluating it in a sufficient way.

So, this research study attempts to highlight certain points on the measurement of quality of life and illustrate some old and recent models of questionnaires which seem to be useful to researchers studing the quality of life and looking for appropreat measurement tools
